Part 1: introduction-We are the leaders whether we realize it or not (3-15)

-We “adults” teach successintroduction our kids are watching

-Build on their enthusiasm and confidence, their hope and tenacity.

-Teach kids in two ways: tell them how to do it or we do it ourselves

-7 percent of communication are words, 38 percent is what we do with our voice, 55 percent energy we project. In other words, actions do in fact speak louder than words.

-we contradict what we say when our actions are the exact opposite. For example, when we tell kids they can be anything they want to be, yet our lives are short of that.

– “teachers expect parents to have taught life skills, confidence and discipline. Managers expect teachers to have taught academic skills, information and cooperation. Governments expect parents, teachers, and managers to have produce successful citizens.”

-people are more alike than they are different.

-we think that we know what kind of life we will live, but we need to be willing to release that thought so we may officially be open to the life we want to actualize.

-Fall in love with the mysterious process of moving from fear of the unknown and uncertain to this inhuman ability to push through and accomplish the impossible.

– change your perspective about unfortunate events and utilize them to propel you forward to success.
