Getting Past What You’ll Never Get Over

Pain is necessary. Pain is what makes us stronger. Pain is what we experience so that we may reveal our true character. Pain might be able to do all these things, but in the moment of feeling the hurt and other accompanying feelings, pain is just pain. Here are a list of feelings I have felt in moments of pain:

  1. anger
  2. humiliation
  3. frustration
  4. guilt
  5. sadness
  6. fear                                                                                                                                                    The thing that I do know for sure is that life is an inevitably painful fact. The best thing that I can do for myself is to not let every struggle result in the above listed feelings because given the facts there is no point to waste my energy in such negative reactions and thoughts.  I am not alone in this world and everyone has the power to overcome the circumstances of being a human. I am making 2019 a commitment to change my mindset so that I can have the opportunity to create better results.
